In a societal climate where divisions grow ever wider, we stay united through art. Renaissance Faires, LARPs, and Conventions; these remain as vital gatherings that bridge gaps, ignite collective passion, and build communities stronger than ever.
Here’s the problem; social media ads cost a fortune, and as platforms demand more and more from businesses to increase profits, that cost gets passed on to you to ensure businesses can stay afloat, and continue paying employees a living wage. These are events that should be not just those who can afford high-end gear. So we are fighting for a change!
Instead of handing over stacks of gold to large corporations, we’re putting those savings back into your hands by stopping all but the bare minimum of our paid ad campaigns. Rather than running constant ads, we aim to use this opportunity to lean on our communities. We Deny their claim over our autonomy, and we Defend our ability to connect.
During this blackout period, we will be cutting our prices by 25%, site wide. We do not know how long this will last currently, as we rely on people seeing our wares to survive, but we want to keep this up as long as possible!
All this to say; we need your help in this.
