 V-Tread Soles are made with a 1.5" lift to the heel and a minor platform to the ball of the foot. Our soles are ergonomically shaped the be the most comfortable thing you've ever worn hiking, in the rain and mud, or even for work.  We don't use aftermarket cheap soles - Ours are custom made and made to last.  Lastly, our soft suede ankle panels on Ares and other series boots are our own touch on leather footwear to give ankle flexibility.  No more OUCH!!  Buy a boot that feels good and won't fail you. Ares Short Boots feature a zipper which takes the hassle out of taking your boots on and off.

Featuring new comfort fit sizing and comfort fit insoles. Nylon backed friction grommets prevent leather yawning and grommet failure. Custom made laces feature branded Verillas aglets. Load bearing panels are double stitched for long lasting wear.  Our custom flexible boot sole is made to last for miles of walking daily. Soles are sewn in with a goodyear welt, making these boots last ages (and the soles are replaceable by a cobbler).  The boot interior is fully lined with athletic fabric. Our boots have been tested through muddy LARP battles and hikes for over a decade of building the Verillas footwear brand.
