Elderwood boots are inspired by elvish armor drawings and medieval fantasy games. These boots are identical to Bramblewood boots except for having a shorter calf high shaft and an all-black colorway indicative of the Elderwood Collection. The Elderwood Short Boots boast an even shorter shaft height for those who want a shin height boot.
We redesigned our boots in 2022 to prevent them from falling apart after only 2-3 years based on customer feedback. Our boots are now goodyear welt stitched one-piece soles, double stitched at key load bearing points, and we offer upgraded insoles with a mild arch support (removable but glued in). Currently we have yet to see a pair fail from hard wear under any circumstances.
The Elderwood Boots are hand-crafted, over the knee boots made from the highest quality of real leather. The soles are made with a 1" lift to the heel and a minor platform to the ball of the foot. Designed for comfort and walking. Heirloom quality made to last a lifetime with proper care. Our Elderwood Boots were designed with inspiration drawn from the unique decorum of fantasy wood elves. More than a show piece, these boots were designed to be adventured in. Loving your boots is about more than wearing them - it's also about storing them properly. Boot Display Stretchers are a lovely way to display your boots in your home and help them keep their shape. They help avoid creasing from being flopped over, at least in the case of tall boots, and make it easier to perform leather care (like moisturizing the exterior with leather lotion). *Due to the design of the boot, the height is asymmetrical. The measurements reflect both the back(shorter measurement) and the front(taller measurement).
*The calves were measured on both the tightest setting and the largest possible setting.

A return card is included in every shipment to cover instances of warranty claim or return.
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for 21 days after you receive your order. Examples include stitching failure, zipper failure, or something that was not crafted correctly. We do not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse or neglect such as tears, stains, pet damage, water damage, or puncture. We take pride in crafting our products to the highest standards, but if you do happen to get something that’s not up to par, please let us know ASAP so we can make it right.
Our return/exchange policy covers returns for any reason of garments unworn beyond trying on for fit for 14 days after you receive the product. We cover shipping both ways within the US. International returns: You must pay return shipping back to Verillas to return or exchange your item. Items smelling of smoke, sullied by pets, or otherwise returned in a condition such that we cannot resell the item as new will not be accepted. Items returned in this condition can be destroyed, or returned to the sender at the sender’s expense by coordinating via info@verillas.com
